Oliver’s Travels offers discount to rebook cancelled James Villa sales

Villas specialist Oliver’s Travels is offering agents with cancelled James Villas bookings a 5% discount if they book with the operator.

The move follows the decision by European holiday rentals business Awaze to close the James Villas brand this week. No new bookings have been taken from October 30 and all bookings from November 30 have been cancelled, affecting around 100 trade sales.

Oliver’s Travels co-founder Oliver Bell said the company was offering a discount as a goodwill gesture to help agents and holidaymakers whose bookings were impacted by the sudden and unexpected closure of James Villas.

Bell said: We understand that the sudden closure of James Villas has left many holidaymakers in a state of uncertainty and disappointment.

“We really believe that everyone deserves an unforgettable holiday, particularly after a difficult few years, so we really want to support in any way we can. Our team is on hand to help with the rebooking of similar holidays to ensure that people don’t miss out on the memories that they have been looking forward to making with their loved ones. We just hope with this gesture that we can bring a little bit of that holiday magic to a stressful time.”

The operator has a portfolio of more than 9,000 villas and chateaux to rent across the UK, Europe and the Caribbean.
