Travelbag has recruited Geoff Dobson as destination manager for North America, Caribbean and Mexico after he set up a pet care firm during the pandemic.
He joins the tailormade specilaist operator after more than a decade of experience in product and commercial roles at companies such as Thomas Cook, Virgin Holidays and theme parks.
Dobson started his own pet care business and worked evenings supporting the NHS during the pandemic.
He will report in to Travelbag head of product Suzanne Harvey.
Dobson said: “I’m very excited to be back in the travel industry.
“Although it’s a different world now, the USA will never stop being a popular destination for British travellers, so I’m looking forward to working with the Travelbag team alongside our supplier partners to create products they’ll love, and getting them out there again.”
