Red Sea Holidays recruits business development executive

Red Sea Holidays has appointed former travel rep Josh Bull to the newly created role of business development executive for the north.

The specialist operator said he will become the “face of Red Sea Holidays” in the northern region, making shop and office visits, hosting training sessions and attending local events.

He has worked overseas for many years as a rep and has experience working with agents and customers.

Peter Kearns, executive director, said Bull is joining the team as part of the operator’s growth plans.

“Demand is soaring for Egypt and our customers are increasingly looking for greater value for their holiday spend. Red Sea Holidays offers exactly this, with week-long all-inclusive holidays from as little as £499 to Sharm el Sheikh,” said Kearns.

“As part of our continued support for our trade partners we are expanding our sales team, with further appointments planned this summer. We are seeing lots of pent-up demand for Egypt and our team will be on hand to assist with in-person and online training to develop product knowledge.”

Bull said: “I’m delighted to be joining the award-winning Red Sea Holidays team at such an exciting time and am looking forward to building relationships with our valued regional partners.”

Agents in the southern region are covered by Nicky Bird, national trade manager.

Last month, Red Sea Holidays said it will relocate its office from London to Cambridge on May 1, to expand its team following a “significant increase” in sales.

Red Sea Holidays, part of the family-owned Red Sea Hotels group, based in Egypt, offers holidays in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Luxor and Sahl Hasheesh, as well as Nile cruises and multi-centre trips.
