Riviera Travel releases 2022 British Isles programme

Riviera Travel has launched its 2022 British Isles programme, featuring 12 itineraries including a new six-day Jersey tour.

Other destinations include Norfolk, Devon, Oxford, the Scottish Highlands, and the Peak District.

All tours last between five and six days with prices starting from £519.

Last year, the escorted touring and river cruise specialist released its first collection of UK tours in response to customer demand.

The Jersey tour includes a stay at the Pomme D’or Hotel and visit to the Jersey War Tunnels, La Mare Wine Estate, Elizabeth Castle and boat trip along the eastern coast by sea. Prices start from £749.

The six-day tour has also been added to this year’s programme, which was extended due to demand.

Three of the itineraries – the Conwy Coast & Snowdonia; Lake District; and North Yorkshire – are Walk & Discover tours.

They will be guided by accredited local professionals, who will take guests by foot to nearby landmarks and beauty spots and provide information on the history and nature of the surrounding area.

Four solo tours, to Norfolk, Cornwall, the Lake District and North Yorkshire, are available.

Guests who book before March 31, 2021, can take advantage of Riviera’s flexible booking promise.

This allows them to change a booking for free up to 45 days before travel on 2021 holidays, and now up until June 30, 2021, for 2022 holidays.

Joanne Lynn, head of European product at Riviera Travel, said: “Our staycation tours cover some of the most picturesque and historic parts of the British Isles.

“We’re pleased to confirm that 2022 will see the return of our most popular itineraries, as well as a new tour to Jersey.

“There is a wealth of choice on offer. With the measures we have in place, as well as our booking assurances, guests can be assured they are in safe hands.”
