Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has expanded its Australia and New Zealand land tours programme for 2024.
New excursions have been added to the operator’s 24-day Ultimate New Zealand and 23-day Very Best of Australia and New Zealand itineraries, “providing more immersive experiences down under”, the company said.
In New Zealand, new activities include a one-night stay at five-star Te Waonui Forest Retreat, a river safari along the Haast River, spending time with conservationists at The National Kiwi Hatchery to learn about the birds, a Maori experience with food tasting, a walk through the Redwoods Forest in Rotorua, a skyline gondola trip in Queenstown and a foodie walking tour in Auckland.
In Australia, Scenic has added a sunset viewing, drinks and a dot painting workshop at Uluru, a one-hour tour at Rainforestation in Cairns with boomerang lesons and a cable car ride on Skyrail in Cairns.
The 23-day Very Best of Australia and New Zealand itinerary from Melbourne to Auckland costs from £8,895. Scenic is giving customers the opportunity to split the tour so they can focus on either Australia or New Zealand.
The 13-day Very Best of Australia itinerary from Melbourne to Sydney costs from £5,145, while the 11-day Very Best of New Zealand tour from Queenstown to Auckland leads in at £4,745.
