Sun Princess shops to include range of ‘first-at-sea’ brands

Sun Princess will offer a “world-class shopping experience” featuring more than 25 first-at-sea brands, says Princess Cruises.

The line’s first Sphere-class ship, whose maiden voyage is on Wednesday, February 28, has more than 200 premium brands on board, with the first-at-sea options including Chanel No. 1, Beyond Yoga, Varley, Neu Nomad and Pinko handbags.

Sabine Muhlberger, vice-president of onboard revenue experience at Princess Cruises, said: “Our guests are going to love this new and unique shopping experience that will enhance the already spectacular cruise experience aboard Sun Princess.”

Interactive elements feature among the shops, while pop-up locations are also tipped to prove “engaging and exciting”.

Deck 8 contains The Premium Watch Lounge, with attractions including the first-at-sea Breitling Lounge concept.

The 4,300-guest, 175,500-tonne ship is the largest built in Italy.
