Thomas Cook launches ski, lakes and mountains holidays

Thomas Cook has partnered with Inghams to expand the online travel agency’s lakes and mountains, ski and Lapland holiday offering.

Starting this month, Thomas Cook has more lakes and mountains holiday options in destinations across Europe, including multi-centre tours and city breaks, with last-minute deals available for this summer as well as early booking discounts on 2023 trips.

The partnership expands Thomas Cook’s ski portfolio, with Inghams offering holidays to 77 resorts in seven countries, as well as Lapland Santa breaks.

Thomas Cook returned as an online-only travel business in September 2020 following Fosun Tourism Group’s acquisition of the brand and associated digital assets in November 2019.

Jamie Thompson, head of trading and inventory at Thomas Cook, said: “Our partnership with Inghams brings our customers access to one of the most popular providers of ski, lakes and mountains holidays and the ever-popular Lapland experiences at Christmas.”

Inghams chief executive John Mansell added: “At Inghams, we pride ourselves on working with trusted and experienced travel agent partners to support the delivery of the holidays that customers want.

“Our summer lake and mountain and ski holidays across Europe and Canada are popular with people looking to make their passions their holiday, many of whom also know the value of experience, as do we.

“Throughout the travel industry’s many changes, we continue to work with experienced, professional and friendly travel agent partners, nurturing longstanding relationships and building new ones for the benefit of holidaymakers.

“We’re delighted to be working with Thomas Cook to support them in the expansion of their range and collaborate expertise to bring their customers excellent holidays.”
