The Travel Village Group has shown its support for the LGBTQ+ community through its new partnership with inclusive rugby club Typhoons RUFC.
The club is a member of the International Gay Rugby charity which works to promote equality and diversity within the sport.
The Blackpool-based travel agency announced it will sponsor the Lancashire club’s touch rugby team for two seasons during Pride Month.

Chief executive of Travel Village Group Phil Nuttall said: “We’re a family business and proud of our Lancashire routes here in Blackpool, so we’re thrilled to be able to show our support to not just a local team, but one that promotes values that every family should live up to.
“The touch team at Typhoons RUFC are a welcome representation of an inclusive family and our business has so many values aligned with the team, particularly with regards to supporting mental and physical health, so we felt this was a natural fit for the company.
“We’re proud to endorse the team and wish all the members every success on and off the pitch.”
