San Francisco has become the eighth destination in Tui’s range of US city breaks for UK customers.
The operator has 40 hotels on offer, with daily non-stop services from Heathrow and a range of indirect flight options from other UK airports including Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham.
Over the past two years, Tui’s city break portfolio has grown from 121 hotels in five cities to 4,500 hotels in 62 cities.
New York was the first US city to launch in 2017 followed by Las Vegas and Miami. The operator also offers city breaks in Boston, Washington DC, New Orleans and Chicago.
Richard Sofer, commercial and business development director for Tui UK and Ireland, said: “The US market is really important for us as we grow our cities portfolio as we know how popular it is with customers.
“We are pleased to launch San Francisco. With its eclectic mix of neighbourhoods and bohemian flavour, it offers diversity in our programme in addition to other popular US cities such as New York, Miami and Las Vegas.”
Top-selling experiences from sister brand Tui Musement include a Golden Gate Bay cruise; a visit to Alcatraz, Muir Woods and Golden Gate Bridge; Volkswagen bus tour of San Francisco; and a Golden Gate seaplane tour in San Francisco.
