Adventure Tours UK partners with South West 660 to offer road trips

Tour operator Adventure Tours UK has partnered with road trip South West 660 to offer tailored itineraries along the coastline between Poole in Dorset and Watchet in Somerset.

South West 660, a 660-mile driving route launched last year, showcases 12 sections of 50 miles long each and aims to encourage slow, sustainable, low season travel along selected smaller roads along the coast of Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.

As the operator partner, Adventure Tours UK is offering tailormade road trips, including accommodation and recommendations for dining and best local places to explore, for luxury, solo or family travel.

Each itinerary includes membership to South West 660, with perks such as special offers to use along the way.

Adventure Tours UK co-founder Claire Copeman said: As champions of slow, sustainable travel ourselves we’re delighted to be the tour operator ‘trusted partner’, enabling travellers to enjoy this stunning region with every detail, from planning to booking, managed for them.”

South West 600 co-founder Ruud Jansen Venneboer said the road trip had chosen the operator to meet demand for organised trips.

He added: “We have been receiving increasing numbers of requests for more ‘hand holding’ from South West 660 members, asking for detailed itineraries on top of the wide range of information we are already providing members with.”
