Agents offered free cruises in AmaWaterways 2024 booking incentive

Agents can qualify for a free cruise with every five 2024 bookings made in a new AmaWaterways programme.

Bookings made before December 31 will qualify for a complimentary cruise for themselves and a companion.

The incentive is tied into the publication of the company’s 2024 Heart of the River brochure.

The programme covers 45 itineraries on 28 ships across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Magdalena River in Colombia.

Agents can book their free seven-night river cruise once all five reservations have travelled, and within 60 days of departure, according to the company.

Managing director Jamie Loizou said: “2024 is an exciting year for AmaWaterways as we become the first and only major river cruise line to sail on Colombia’s Magdalena River.

“We are already seeing strong forward business for 2024, and with a new destination, new ships, savings of 20% off many departures and now a strong incentive, it is a great time for agents to promote AmaWaterways to their clients.”

Two seven-night year-round itineraries feature in Colombia, sailing between Cartagena and Barranquilla on 30-cabin custom-built ship AmaMagdalena.

Optional pre-cruise land packages in Medellín and Cartagena are available together with a post-cruise stay in Panama City.

A new seven-night sailing between Dijon and Lyon highlights France’s Burgundy region.

The Flavours of Burgundy itinerary can be combined with three-night land packages in Paris and Geneva.
