AIDA extends Canaries sailings but cancels others

German line AIDA Cruises is extending Canary Islands sailings throughout June but cancelling others.

The ship AIDAperla will run additional departures from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria on June 12, 19 and 26.

AIDAblu starts Greek cruises on May 23 and AIDAsol from Germany starting on May 22.

However, all other sailings between May 18 and June 10 have been cancelled as cruises in other destinations are not possible at the moment, according to the company.

AIDA is offering the ability to rebook to one of the Canary Islands, Greek voyages or cruises from Germany as well as later sailings.

Enhanced health and safety protocols include a mandatory PCR test for detecting viruses and bacteria before travelling, as well as regular health checks, social distancing and hygiene rules, medical care including test capacities on board and other measures.
