A cricket-themed cruise featuring former players and commentators has been scheduled by Ambassador Cruise Line.
The ‘cricketing legends’ sailing features former Essex and England captain Graham Gooch and all-rounder Geoff Miller plus Test Match Special alumni Jonathan Agnew and Henry Blofeld alongside broadcaster Garry Richardson.
They are due to appear on a December 10 departure by the ship Ambience on a five-night Christmas markets itinerary from London Tilbury to Hamburg and Amsterdam.
A number of interactive events are planned with the cricketing personalities sharing their personal experiences and views on the game as well as holding quizzes, Q&As, book signings and a live auction.
Prices start at £519 per person, based on two people sharing a superior twin inside cabin.
