APT & Travelmarvel cuts 50% off fares ‘to maintain momentum from peaks’

APT & Travelmarvel rates are being cut by up to half in a tactical offer to encourage 2023 bookings by June 30.

Sale dates encompass the May bank holidays, Coronation and peak summer, which are among this year’s most in-demand windows for travel, according to the river and small ship cruise firm.

The ‘Time to Travel’ sale has been designed to help stimulate bookings for these key holiday dates, and to ensure agents are equipped with an offer to help them drive business over the next 12 weeks.

The cost of a seven-night river cruise from Amsterdam to Nuremberg departing on June 19 is down to £1,495 per person from £2,995, including return flights.

Head of sales and development Brad Bennetts said: “Strategic tactical incentives, in keeping with our hugely successful Wave campaign, are playing an integral role in rebuilding customer confidence post-Covid, enticing ‘new to cruise’ business, and closing sales.

“The ‘Time to Travel’ sale will give agents the tools to maintain the momentum from peaks and continue to drive sales aggressively for the next couple of months, including departures over the forthcoming bank holidays and summer’s high season from June to the end of August.”
