Canadian Affair to recognise top 20 agents with one-off awards

A one-off agent awards ceremony is to be run by Canadian Affair to mark five years of sales through the travel trade.

The Canadian Affair Travel Agent Awards will see the operator’s travel trade team recognise the top 20 agents who have delivered the most revenue since 2018.

The trade personnel will also embark on a ‘thank you’ tour across the country to distribute dedicated Canadian themed items including maple cookies, Canada framed prints, chocolate boxes and candles.

The operator claims that trade sales have grown “substantially” year-on-year from the outset.

The operator has continued to increase trade engagement activities over the years with fam trips, face-to-face visits, support of agent events, regular point of sale material and promotional items.

Managing director Chris Hedley said: “The travel trade have been integral to the growth and success of Canadian Affair over the past five years, and we wanted to celebrate their work and contribution to our business.

“Our commitment to engaging and rewarding our agent partners is paramount, with our new CAFTAs designed to demonstrate our appreciation, and we are confident that our travel trade engagement programme will continue to grow in the next five years.”
