Carnival Cruise Line has opened reservations for new Europe and Alaska sailings in summer 2026.
For the first time, the cruise line has introduced an 11-day Carnival Journeys Eclipse cruise, departing from Dover on August 9, 2026, with stops in Spain, Portugal and France.
The total solar eclipse will take place on August 12, 2026, when the ship will be at sea to provide “a prime viewing vantage point for this rare celestial occurrence”.

Prices start at £1,120 and ports of call include: Le Havre, France; St. Peter Port, Guernsey; Vigo, Spain; Lisbon and Leixões, Portugal; Le Verdon, France; and Zeebrugge, Belgium.
The ship will make nine sailings from Dover with nine to 12-day itineraries across northern Europe, the British Isles, Scandinavia and the Baltic and Iceland, plus six nine to 12-day trips from Civitavecchia, the port for Rome to destinations in Italy, the Greek islands, Turkey and Croatia.
Prices lead in at £772 for Dover departures and £780 from Rome.
Carnival Legend will sail to Europe on a 14-day transatlantic voyage leaving Miami on May 24, 2026, making stops in Liverpool, Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire before arriving in Dover.

Meanwhile, Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit will sail from Seattle to Alaska in summer 2026.
Carnival Miracle will make a seven-day Alaska voyage every Thursday from May 7, 2026. The route will visit the Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan in Alaska, plus Victoria in British Columbia.
The ship will also make two special nine and 10-day Carnival Journeys sailings, with the nine-day cruise offering more time to see the Inside Passage, with an added visit to Sitka in Alaska, and the 10-day cruise also visiting Icy Strait Point in Alaska. Prices start at £927.
Carnival Spirit will sail Alaska routes from April 28, 2026, to September 15, 2026. When the ship returns to Seattle on September 23, 2026, it will go on a 15-day Carnival Journeys round-trip cruise to Hawaii with stops in in Honolulu, Oahu; Nawiliwili, Kauai; Kahului, Maui and Hilo, Hawaii; and a visit to Victoria, British Columbia in Canada.
All Alaska itineraries currently available are for Seattle embarkations only, but there will be options for San Francisco departures for summer 2026 coming in the autumn.
There will also be four journeys that cross the Panama Canal to reposition the Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit before and after the summer in Alaska.
The voyages feature visits to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; and Cartagena, Colombia and prices start at £1,200.
