Cruise company outlines 2024 sailings from Washington DC

US domestic operator American Cruise Lines is to maintain its position as the only one to run departures from Washington DC.

The company became the first to to dock in the US capital in over 60 years in 2018.

The line’s 2024 American Revolution itinerary operate from Washington DC and sail the Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River and York River. 

The itinerary includes ports of call such as Yorktown, Mount Vernon and Annapolis. 

This year’s cruises in the spring and autumn will depart from The Wharf,home to one of DC’s most vibrant and bustling communities along the southeast waterfront. The first departure of the year is on March 26. 

The 170-passenger American Constitutionand 100-passenger catamaran American Glory are being deployed on the 10-nightcruises.

Cruise-only rates start at £4,850 per person including a discount of £1,100 on selected spring dates.

The price includes daily excursions and entertainment, all meals and beverages including beer and wine with lunch and dinner and a daily cocktail hour, wi-fi, gratuities and port charges.
