Rocky Mountaineer train trips through the Canadian Rockies are being offered as add-ons to Cunard Alaska cruises this summer after a break due to the pandemic.
A three-night post-cruise trip or a four-night tour before embarking on Queen Elizabeth in Vancouver will be available, depending on the sailing date.
The three-night rail tour takes an eastbound journey from Vancouver to Calgary, the four-night tour goes the opposite direction and gives an additional day of sightseeing in Banff.
A partnership between the cruise company and Rocky Mountaineer was announced in 2018 ahead of Cunard’s 2019 Alaska season.
Following a pause in operations due to the pandemic, Cunard is now offering the Rocky Mountaineer packages for its 2023 Alaska season from tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9am.
The three-night tour starts at $2,850 per person based six sailings, while the four-night trip leads in at $3,250pp on three pre-cruise departures.
