Disneyland Paris unveils experiences as part of 30th anniversary finale

Disneyland Paris has unveiled new shows and events as part of the Grand Finale of its 30th Anniversary celebration, which can be seen until September 30.

The theme park opened in April 1992 and has been celebrating its 30th anniversary with new experiences as part of a wider transformation at the site.

Following the recent openings of Marvel Avengers Campus and the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, there will be another Marvel experience, called Avengers: Power the Night – a nightly drone show at Walt Disney Studios Park, from January 28 to May 8.

Another night-time show, Disney Dreams, will make a comeback from April 12, with stories projected on Sleeping Beauty Castle and songs from Disney and Pixar films.

Also making a return is the ‘It’s a small world’ ride, which reopens in spring after being refurbished.

In the summer, a new show called Pixar: We Belong Together will make its debut in Walt Disney Studios Park.

New products will be sold in the theme park shops and restaurants to mark the launch of events for the Grand Finale.

On January 22, which is Polka Dot Day, there will be a new fashion range dedicated to Minnie Mouse and Paris, called the “Minnie Paris” collection.

Royal breakfasts with Disney Princesses will make a comeback at l’Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland in the spring, and an English pub-inspired restaurant will soon be available as King Ludwig’s Castle will be turned into The Royal Pub, at Disney Village.

Other projects which are soon to be completed include the transformation of the Disneyland Hotel and refurbishment work at Disney Village.

A Frozen-themed land is being built at Walt Disney Studios Park, as part of an expansion plan that will also include a lake and gardens.
