A series of appointments have been made by luxury operator Elegant Resorts as it strengthens its management team ahead of 2024.
Rowena Edwards has started as tailor-made manager, bringing 17 years of luxury travel experience working in product and sales roles with World Odyssey, Abercrombie & Kent and Tailormade Travel.
Jack Allen is joining from Gold Medal as Europe, cruise and ski manager to help grow ski sales and strengthen the operator’s position in the European and cruise holidays sectors.
Karen Davidson takes on the role of head of the operator’s Chairman’s Club loyalty scheme, moving from her role as global sales director at Minor Hotels. She has also worked at Diethelm Travel Group and Shangri-La.
They follow Katie Daniels, who joined as national sales manager for the trade from First Class Holidays last month.
She is reporting to Tracy Docherty, sales director for Elegant Resorts and sister brand If Only, to focus on growing Elegant Resorts’ trade footprint.

“We are finishing 2023 on a high and have invested a lot in the trade and our product over the past year.
“I feel we are in a very strong position to kick start 2024. With enrichment travel being one our key travel trends for next year, we have expanded our tailor-made offering with plenty of new itineraries around the world and these appointments will help us convert our efforts into sales.”
