Explore Worldwide claims 50% increase in trade sales

Explore Worldwide has reported a post-pandemic bounce back with a 50% rise in travel agent sales over the last 12 weeks over the same period in 2019.

The small group adventure operator is projecting further growth in trade sales ahead of the release of brochures for 2023.

This came as it guaranteed that all departures for next year and beyond. 

Brochure distribution will be plastic-free for the second year running, in line with the company’s sustainability strategy.

Explore’s Unforgettable Adventures brochure will be distributed this week with a Family Adventures brochure to follow later in the month. 

Global sales director Ben Ittensohn said: “Demand for sustainable small-group adventure is on the up. 

“This is a rapidly-growing sector with a very strong outlook – demand into 2023 is already very positive, with longer haul travel now coming back. We are totally committed to the continual growth of this sector in partnership with our agent partners.“

“We were praised by our agent partners for doing the right thing during the pandemic, and being an operator that agents can trust is absolutely crucial in how we run our business. 

“So to have this level of ongoing trust and support from our agents means the world to us and stands us in good stead for an even stronger 2023.”
