Heritage Expeditions has released three voyages for 2023, calling into destinations across Asia and the South Pacific.

Passengers can swim with whale sharks during the 14-day Undiscovered Philippines & Indonesia sailing, departing June 27, with prices starting from $8,975.

The 27-day Asian Island Odyssey voyage, departing on June 14, leads in from $17,950. The sailing starts from Osaka and visits destinations in Philippines and Indonesia before arriving in Darwin, Australia.

Passengers can visit “eco-paradise” Yakushima Island, Japan; Batan Island and Hundred Islands National Park, both Philippines, during the voyage.

Prices for the 29-day Grand Pacific Odyssey itinerary, departing from Auckland on March 20, start from $10,680.

Ports of call include Norfolk Island, Australia; Tetepare Island, Kolombangara Island, both in the Solomon Islands; and Torishma Island, Japan.

Passengers will cross both the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer, and the Equator.

All prices quoted are based on accommodation on the 140-passenger Heritage Adventurer with meals, Zodiac excursions, guided nature tours and transfers included.

Heritage Expeditions commercial director and expedition leader Aaron Russ confirmed the itineraries had been designed for “cruise enthusiasts and adventurers”.

He said: “The new voyages Odyssey brought a trifecta of exciting, authentic expedition itineraries well-off traditional tourist routes to the expedition cruise market.

“Not only are these islands home to rare and endangered wildlife, these remote tropical outposts also boast incredible natural history, some are Unesco World Heritage Sites and conservation sanctuaries and reserves, while others blend rich human history including the Spice Trade and World War II.”
