Hoseasons to invest more than £1m in largest peaks campaign to date

Hoseasons is to invest more than £1 million in its largest-ever turn-of-year marketing campaign.

The Big 2023 Sale, offering £23 low deposits and up to £200 off holidays next year, goes live on Boxing Day and runs until the end of January.

The multi-channel campaign will feature across TV, Video on Demand, digital channels and in selected print titles.

The company is confident the six-week push across the domestic specialist’s portfolio of holiday parks, lodges and boats will prove popular in the early booking market as holidaymakers look to save money on 2023 breaks.

Paul Evans, vice president, portfolio, at Hoseasons’ parent company Awaze, said: “We know how tough it is out there at the moment and that people are having to make tough choices on what they spend their money on, but we also know that holidays are one of the last things people are prepared to give up when looking to cut costs.”

He said booking early would not only secure a low deposit but also help agents’ clients spread the holiday cost over a longer period of time and ensure they had a holiday to look forward to “without having to break the bank to do so.”

The Big 2023 Sale TV ad features a diverse range of families, couples and groups enjoying each other’s company in relaxing settings, including holiday parks, luxury lodges and in a hot tub.

The ad will run on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky channels from Boxing Day until January 7 with Video on Demand across the same channels during the entire campaign period.

The campaign will also be on Spotify audio and video, Radio Times in print and display advertising, and online, with a mix of advertising across pay-per-click, social media and email, all driving traffic to the operator’s website.

Sister company cottages.com is also taking part in the sale with properties all available for travel agents to book via the Hoseasons site.
