Inside Travel Group appoints Holly Brown as BDM

Inside Travel Group has appointed Holly Brown as business development manager to replace Andrew Tait who left earlier this year.

Brown has been senior travel consultant for InsideJapan for the last six years.

In her previous role she has worked with agents and has travel and sales experience of Japan, South Korea and southeast Asian destinations. Prior to joining Inside Travel, Brown spent two years living in Japan.

She replaces Andrew Tait, who left the role in April and is now senior business development manager at Aurora Expeditions. The position has been vacant since spring.

The group says the appointment will help to improve its service to the trade and increase its agent sales as demand grows for InsideJapan and InsideAsia trips.

Brown said: “Having worked with our agent partners over the years, I couldn’t wait to take this opportunity to go out and meet them in person, share my knowledge and experience and help them improve their sales to our destinations.”

She added: “It’s a really exciting time for us and I can’t wait to share it with our agent partners. We have a lot of agent events coming up over the next three months and I plan to go out and meet with some of our most loyal partners and potential partners too.”

The group’s UK trade manager Gabo Quiros said service improvements have already been made company-wide, with 80 staff recruited across sales, sales support and operations worldwide, to give agents “everything they need and more”.

He said: “We have big growth plans for Inside Travel and we believe we can find that within the trade.”

The company predicts the peak autumn period for Japan could equal InsideJapan’s 2019 record numbers with clients travelling during the ‘Koyo’ autumn leaf season from October until November.

Sister brand InsideAsia has also enjoyed a record sales month for South Korea, Vietnam among other destinations.
