Homeworking firm Inspire Group has increased its Atol licence to support dynamic packaging by its agents.
Details of the expanded Atol were not disclosed but it came as managing director Lisa Henning outlined a range of initiatives for its 70 Independent Travel Associates (ITAs).
These include a new touring offering, incorporating direct rates to help homeworkers maximise their competitiveness and a new cruise website.
Bespoke quarterly trends reports will be created to help ITAs manage their businesses more strategically, with data taken from six different revenue streams from across the business, along with other industry-related information.
ITAs will also be provided with access to the organisation’s membership of the Sustainable Travel Organisation, under plans unveiled at Inspire’s conference at Reuben’s Retreat in Glossop in Derbyshire.
Henning said: “We are fully committed to building our position in homeworking and to continually strengthening our proposition in this growth sector.
“Our priority is to ensure that our homeworkers remain as competitive as possible in their local markets and can continue to dynamically package.
“To support this move we have increased our Atol licence to demonstrate our commitment to them in this area, giving them more choice to offer their clients, whilst also protecting their margin, and continuing to work under our trust account model.”
She added: “ We know that margin management is of real importance to our homeworkers, and we are seeing a great deal of success by enabling them to dynamically package holidays for their clients. There is also commitment on our part to grow Inspire’s direct offering to help support this direction.
“We have ambitions to grow the team significantly this year and will be adding more benefits to our homeworking team going forward and introducing incentives for new applicants to join.
“Protecting and increasing their commission is our number one priority.
“To help achieve this we have also announced two new levels of earnings within our tiered commission approach allowing homeworkers to aim for Royal status, meaning they can earn up to 90% commission.”
Henning also committed to the continuation of advanced commission payments equating to 50% upfront on the month of booking.
She added that the business has also offered its homeworkers a fully workable solution for them to use the group’s gift card offering.
She added: “By giving the team access to our market leading gift card proposition, it will help them attract and retain customers. The gift card market is worth £7 billion in the UK and is expected to double by 2028. We are confident that accessing this market will help homeworkers grow their business.”
