Limitless Travel growth leads to financial controller appointment

Kate Parsons has been named in the newly-created role of financial controller at Limitless Travel due to growth achieved by the disabled-friendly specialist.

The creation of the position comes as company reported a record day of sales on the back of a strong performance in 2023.

Parsons joins after a career in various finance roles including at Lake District transport and visitor attraction firm Winander Leisure.

Limitless Travel founder and chief executive Angus Drummond said: “We’re delighted to welcome Kate on board as our new financial controller and she will be heavily involved in developing strategies across the business.

“This is a newly-created role for our finance team after an excellent 2023 performance-wise.

“And in 2024, we’ve already seen our biggest day of sales since we started over eight years ago, so we’re very confident for another year of strong growth.”

Parsons added: “Personally, it is an absolute must that I feel passionate and care about the purpose of the company I work for.

“There is no greater job satisfaction than knowing you are a part of something bigger, beyond just being an accountant.

“My role here has an impact on the quality of our travellers’ lives by improving how Limitless Travel operates and that drives me to work harder and do better for them which makes living in spreadsheets so much more worthwhile.”
