On the Beach has unveiled its turn-of-year TV advert as part of a multi-million pound campaign for summer 2022.
The advert, dubbed an “unreserved celebration of holidays”, has been released on the online travel agent’s YouTube channel and is to launch across major terrestrial TV channels on Christmas Day.
The advert is set to Andy Williams’ Christmas classic ‘The Most Wonderful Time of the Year’ but depicts how a family’s delight is sparked by booking a summer holiday with On the Beach.
It will also include a voiceover introduction from newsreader Sir Trevor McDonald with the words: “And now an update from On the Beach. The most wonderful time of the year is actually just around the corner. So stay tuned, and happy holidaying.”
The campaign coincides with a new booking offer, for free fast track security with all package holidays booked, and free airport lounge access with all four and five star bookings.
Along with the main brand TV ad, the campaign also features two stand alone TV and online ads, which focus specifically on the offers.
