Online Travel Training to increase agent engagement in 2025

Online Travel Training (OTT) is set to unveil plans to extend its work with travel agents this year, according to new managing director Jessica Shelton-Agar.

OTT provides bespoke training courses, virtual events, webinars, targeted marketing and incentives for staff in the travel industry and has a range of clients including airlines, tourist boards, tourist attractions, hotels and tour operators.

Shelton-Agar took up the role of MD at the training provider on November 26. She had previously worked as head of sales for destination management company Discover Qatar and tour operator Qatar Airways Holidays, both owned by Qatar Airways. Prior to that she worked as head of sales for APT in the UK.

She said: “My first couple of weeks are all about listening and learning about the OTT brand, the product and the people.

“The trade will hear from us in the new year when we will have some exciting news on our plans for 2025 and launch some new products. We want to expand on the excellent work the team has already put in place.”

She added: “There is so much potential for OTT and for our partners to reach a wider range of employees in the travel agent community. We are looking to get more travel partners on board in 2025.”
