A coastal province in Vietnam featuring tourist attractions has opened a UK office to support the trade.
Quang Nam has 125 kilometres of coastline and tourist sites such as Hoi An and the My Son temples in addition to the lesser travelled Cam Thanh side of the region.
The province is also focused on becoming a destination for eco-friendly and responsible tourism.
Run by SLC Representation, the office will look after trade, marketing and PR.
The move enables agents to learn more about the destination, following Vietnam reopening its borders following the pandemic.
SLC managing director Chris Farwell said: “Quang Nam sits in the heart of Vietnam with two well-known UNESCO world heritage sites but the region has so much more to offer.
“Our goal is to help agents and operators develop their knowledge of the region through trips, training and marketing opportunities in the year ahead.
“With such a central location it’s highly likely Quang Nam will regularly feature in travel itineraries, and this is a great opportunity for agents and operators to understand how visitors can explore beyond Hoi An.”
