Abu Dhabi unveils 2022 trade booking incentive

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism has created a new sales incentive campaign which will run until the end of the year for agents and operator sales staff.

The initiative includes a range of prizes in a draw which will be open to agents who complete four training modules www.abudhabispecialist.com.

After qualifying to enter, agents can then log bookings to earn points for the draw, with prizes including a race experience at Silverstone, tickets to see Manchester City, DCT Abu Dhabi-branded goods, and Etihad Airways flights.

Husain Al Hashmi, regional section head for DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “We are delighted to launch our new rewards programme, which will increase awareness of our outstanding destination as well as product knowledge among our valued trade partners.

“We have introduced these incentives with the objective of driving registrations to the e-learning programme launched in early 2021, and incentivising agents to log their bookings to Abu Dhabi for the chance to win a range of exclusive prizes.

“We hope that the programme will enlighten travel agents on Abu Dhabi’s diverse offering for tourists, with year-round sunshine and the world in one place, with options for every traveller.”
