Aito welcomes ‘all-rounder’ as new marketing communications manager

Aito has announced Amy Waller as its new marketing communications manager.

Waller, whose experience includes Travelopia, Cox & Kings and the South Australian Tourism Commission, will manage all communications activity on behalf of the association and its members.

Most recently, Waller was programme manager at The Mindfulness Project, where she led the brand’s marketing strategy including email, website and partner promotions, as well as overseeing pay-per-click (PPC) and social media strategy.

She also managed a programme of courses, workshops, retreats and masterclasses, both online and in-person.

Prior to that, Waller was marketing manager at Cox & Kings, where she led multi-channel brand and partnership campaigns.

Martyn Sumners, Aito executive director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the team.

“She is an excellent all-rounder with a background in marketing and considerable experience of working alongside specialist travel companies and tour operators, which will be extremely valuable to Aito.”

Waller will be based at the association’s offices in Twickenham, alongside long-term team members including Bharat Gadhoke, Yvonne Kinder, Pam Hersey and Sumners.

Sumners said he will “introduce Waller to many Aito members” at the association’s conference, which takes place in Thessaloniki between November 23-26.
