Barrhead Travel hosted its cruise line partner, Carnival Cruise Lines, for a “takeover day” at the agency’s Glasgow headquarters yesterday.
About 100 Barrhead Travel employees, including head office and retail teams, were at Libertas House in Glasgow city centre on Thursday (October 26).
They were joined by Carnival’s Luke Smith, director of international sales, and Danielle Kerton, international sales account manager.
The Barrhead staff took part in learning session during the morning then the boardroom was transformed into a “Fun Zone” for games and prize giveaways.
Jacqueline Dobson, Barrhead president, said: “It has been fantastic to welcome Carnival Cruise Line to Libertas House and I know our people have seen huge benefit from this.
“Training is one of the most important areas of our growth strategy so being able to deliver a day dedicated to development in such a fun and dynamic way is brilliant.
“The Carnival team has really brought the product to life in the heart of our head office and we’re excited to see our partnership flourish even further over the coming months.”
Smith said: “Carnival Cruise Line is honoured to take over the offices at Libertas House and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it went.
“The relationship with Barrhead Travel continues to go from strength to strength and a large part of this is down to the team’s engagement with our brand.
“This was evident in the takeover day as everyone was having fun, winning prizes and deepening their knowledge through the training.”
