Celebrity Cruises has launched a trade-dedicated podcast aimed at agents working from home.
Conversations with Celebrity, hosted by the cruise line’s training manager Leon Hand, is specifically aimed at educating, inspiring and entertaining travel agents.
Each monthly episode will provide an update of the latest brand news and quick-fire training, and Hand will interview a guest from the brand about their personal story and what they love about travel.
Hand said: “The beauty of a podcast is that it gets you away from a screen and you can listen anywhere, at any time. Responding to how our agents are consuming information right now is important to us and it’s clear many have increased their listening in lockdown.
“Our podcast won’t just help our partners sell Celebrity Cruises, it will elevate their knowledge of the industry and underline our new luxury positioning. At a time when we are all distanced, I’m also hoping listeners will develop a connection to the personal and genuine stories told by each guest.”
Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director, EMEA, for Celebrity Cruises, is Hand’s first guest on the March episode which is out now with a training session focused on Celebrity Cruises’ recently-announced Always Included offering.
Hand will also host educational sessions via Facebook Live and conduct interviews published on the social media platform.
The podcast will be available on Spotify, SoundCloud and other audio streaming platforms.
