Corporate Traveller clinches new clients worth almost £5m

Travel Management Company Corporate Traveller clinched almost £5 million in new business travel clients last month.

The TMC, which specialises in business travel services for SME companies, signed £4.9 million worth of new business, comprised of 26 new clients.

July was the agency’s most successful month for new business since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.

The 26 SME clients come from a diverse range of industries, with the top five sectors committing to the biggest spend post-pandemic being:

  1. Manufacturing and engineering with a combined spend of £1,360,000
  2. Media, film and TV with spend of £760,000
  3. Charity and non-profit with spend of £750,000
  4. Technology industry with spend of £675,000
  5. Pharmaceuticals and healthcare with spend of £400,000

Corporate Traveller head of sales Gary James said: “The signing of these new clients is an indicator that business travel is back on the agenda for many SMEs, with international travel becoming more feasible as Covid restrictions ease worldwide.

“We encourage these companies to reach out to us for advice on how to amend travel policies, re-organise opportunities in their programme in order to save money, and find the right travel providers for their employees to ensure they travel safely and with peace of mind.”
