Kuoni’s frontline retail staff can now swap their old uniforms for their own clothes, thanks to a new policy about what they can wear at work.
Retail staff will be given an allowance to buy new work outfits and styling tips and advice have been issued.
The Wear to Work Wardrobe by Kuoni contains guidelines about how to dress “to reflect the premium brand Kuoni is, whilst also allowing the team to bring their own personality to work”.
Helen Roberts, sales director, said: “Our uniquely welcoming store environments are where personality, expertise and expectations come together.
“This is about updating our brand and trusting our team to dress the part whilst also allowing them to bring their own personality to work.”

Staff in Kuoni’s London stores wore their own clothes as part of a trial ahead of the new policy being introduced on Friday (November 5).
Stacey Owens, manager of Kuoni at Peter Jones, Sloane Square, London, said: “I love the new approach to dressing for work and have been lucky to be part of the trial.
“Customers love it and have made a point of saying how great we look, which has given us a real confidence boost.
“I love wearing dresses and, as well as reliable black ones, I’ve also got some patterned ones and some bright colours – we’re talking holidays after all.”
Jack Pike, personal travel expert in Kuoni Bluewater, said: “I do like to dress quite formally for work so at first the thought of losing my tailored uniform was horrifying.
“But as time has gone on, I’ve definitely warmed to the idea of a non-uniform work style and it was great to be part of the photo-shoot to see how we all look with a little more guidance on what to wear together. I’m now really excited about it.”
