Matt Harding has been elevated to director of franchise sales as part of a series of senior leadership promotions at Travel Counsellors.
His move from the role of general manager coincided with the homeworking firm’s annual conference in Manchester.
Six promotions to the senior leadership team to support key strategic areas are to be confirmed.
Harding, former head of Freedom Travel Group, joined Travel Counsellors in 2019 as head of strategy for independent agents and then became head of franchise recruitment and training, and general manager in March.
In his new role, Harding “will focus on driving the essential growth and quality of new travel counsellor recruitment, onboarding, embedding new TCs into our community and, most importantly, looking at how they can build a lasting business,” the company said.
“We will continue to invest in our talent across the entire TC community so that we create even more opportunities for our people to excel in their roles and reach their personal ambitions.”
