MSC Cruises hikes commission on shore excursions

Agent commission on shore excursions is being raised to 15% by MSC Cruises.

The new trade booking incentive sees the rate rise from 5% on bookings made by May 31.

Passengers can save 20% by pre-booking shore excursions over the price offered on board, according to the line.

The drive to boost excursion sales via the trade covers  northern European sailings this summer and winter 2023-24 

MSC Cruises’ new flagship MSC Euribia,due to launch in Copenhagen in June,is included in the promotion alongside the line’s UK-based ship MSC Virtuosa plus MSC Preziosa, MSC Poesia and MSC Fantasia.

UK and Ireland sales director Steve Williamssaid: “We have shore excursions to suit every taste and for all ages. Whether our guests prefer adventure, nature, culture or history, they can create lifelong memories on one of our incredible shore excursion packages.

“By offering bonus commissions like this to our valuable travel agents and unlocking additional savings for our customers, we make relaxing at sea and exploring the world much more accessible.”
