New corporate head at Travel Counsellors to drive further growth

Travel Counsellors has appointed Melanie Quinn as head of corporate to support the homeworking agency’s business travel growth plans.

She has nearly 30 years of experience in the travel industry, beginning in commercial aviation sales with BMI and SAS, before leading Etihad sales teams in northern England and Scotland.

In 2015, Quinn joined CTI as commercial director then joined Clyde Travel Management in 2020 as head of sales and customer relations.

Travel Counsellors said her appointment comes as the company is seeing record-breaking results, with corporate bookings reaching more than £85 million and 418 new corporate accounts being opened by the end of March 2023.

Kieran Hartwell, managing director of corporate at Travel Counsellors, said: “Mel’s appointment in this position as head of corporate will play a key strategic role in supporting and driving us through the next phase of our growth plans as we continue to see significant success in corporate travel.”

Quinn added: “I am pleased to be joining such a fast-growing company and thrilled to be using my background in business travel to bring new ideas and to lead such a thriving team.
