The new role was created after Nicola Cox moved from her post as key account manager to head of trade sales in October 2024.
Daines said: “I was ready for a new challenge and I am so excited to take my vast knowledge of this wonderful product out on the road.
“Having previously been a travel agent myself, I know how best to support our loyal agent partners and how to help them drive new business.
“Utilising my extensive first-hand product experience, I know I have the tools and capability to drive further business and I am excited to see what 2025 has in store.”
Fay McCormack, general manager of the Star Clippers’ UK general sales agent (GSA), added: “Emma’s unwavering enthusiasm for Star Clippers, paired with her vast product experience, makes her perfect for this role.
“She was the ideal candidate and I am very much looking forward to seeing what Emma achieves this year.”
