Homeworking agency Not Just Travel has appointed weightlifting coach Robyn Morgan to the newly created role of onboarding trainer.
Morgan has more than 24 years of experience in travel, having worked in Australia and the UK, as well as running her own gym businesses.
The new role has been created as part of Not Just Travel’s recently announced biggest-ever upgrade to its training and support.
As onboarding trainer, she is combining her coaching skills, entrepreneurial expertise and travel experience to support NJT consultants who are new to travel.
She studied travel and tourism in Australia and worked for Australian travel giant Flight Centre in Sydney and Brisbane.
Morgan also trained and coached in weightlifting and went on to work for the Australian Weightlifting Federation before having her own weightlifting gym from 2015 to 2019.
She then returned to the UK, working in corporate travel in Manchester, as well maintaining her coaching and training in weightlifting and Crossfit.
“My forte is communication, nurturing and helping people learn,” she said.
“Weightlifting is very technical and I like processes and procedures. Over the years I’ve mastered the art of tailoring my teaching to how recipients best receive information.
“I’m a nurturer by nature and my training has taught me so much about the human spirit.
“I don’t just talk to a screen from nine-to-five; it’s about blended learning and capturing people’s attention.
“It is my job to ensure consultants have all the resources at their fingertips.”
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel, added: “Ninety-eight per cent of our consultants are new to the travel industry and so training is a top priority.
“Robyn knows what it takes to succeed: resilience, mental strength, patience, motivation and self-belief.
“She will be bringing all that to her training sessions. We’re excited to see her inject her own unique energy and dynamism into our already great training.”
