Not Just Travel tops sales forecasts by more than 30%

Homeworking agency Not Just Travel has reported that it has beaten its own sales forecasts by over 30% in the last three months.

It has also recruited more new travel consultants in the past five months than the whole of 2022 – with at least one new travel consultant joining most working days.

On Wednesday (May 31) its recruitment arm, The Travel Franchise, welcomed six new members in a single day.

Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel and The Travel Franchise, said: “We like to challenge ourselves and so always give ourselves substantial sales targets to reach for, but the last three months we have blasted these out of the water by over 30%.

“The resurgence in travel shows no signs of abating as consumer confidence has been buoyed by recent glorious sunshine and the recent energy cap.

“Consumer mood is good and this translates into significant bookings. Many of our members are taking home £10-30k in income each month.”

Mauritius has entered the company’s top five destinations being booked for the first time, thanks to demand for a “premium experience coupled with good value” and a recent trip for 32 agents to the island with trade partner Beachcomber Tours.

Furthermore, increasing numbers of bookings are being made during the weekends, with more bookings being made on Saturdays and Sundays since January.

Witt added: “We offer more than the high street retailers’ 9-5 and make bookings while their doors are closed. The world wants on-demand service and we are the ones to provide it.”

The top selling destination in May was Spain, followed by Greece, US, Turkey and Mauritius.

Almost two-thirds (61%) of bookings are for this summer season and 74% are adults only, including couples and solo travellers.
