Hays Travel Independence Group members are to be visited proactively by a new on-the-road support and advice team from April 1.
The move follows a restructure since the appointment of Natasha Marson as head of the group in March last year.
The previous IG support team has been relaunched as the IG Operations and Partnerships Team, with business development managers on the road for the first time proactively supporting members.
The aim is for the team to pay Hays IG members visits to ensure they maximise the benefits of being part of the larger Hays Travel group and give one-to-one support to members.
Marson said: “When I joined I took a sharp look at the IG Group on how to move the group forward. We wanted to get into a good position for the future.
“We are providing dedicated support to review members’ businesses and take them forward. Now is the time to take full advantage of what is on offer and we will continue to bolster the team.”
Hays Travel chief operating officer Jonathon Woodall-Johnston said the aim was to showcase what was working successfully in Hays Travel and opportunities to boost IG members’ revenues.
These include selling more cruises and experiential holidays, travel insurance, and using the company’s direct debit scheme for customers to spread out payments until six weeks before departure.
