Cannon Travel in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, has become a managed agency branch for East Anglian chain Premier Travel.
Paul Waters, director at Premier Travel, said: “With our sales returning back to 2019 levels and our recovery now well under way, we have again been looking at new business opportunities.”
He said managing directors Vivien Townsend and Kevin Brooks and the team at Cannon Travel have decided to work in partnership with Premier as a new managed branch following the agency’s approach to the chain earlier this year.
“This branch is in a great location, has a loyal customer base and the team have a vast amount of experience, making them an excellent addition to our network of agencies and homeworkers,” said Waters.
Headquartered in Cambridge, Premier Travel has 25 branches across the east and south of England.
Waters added: “We will be working with Cannon slightly differently, with Vivien and Kevin looking to work a little less.
“We will be providing a manager and the branch will adopt a number of Premier’s operational ways so we run in a more similar way.
“We are delighted to welcome Cannon Travel Hoddesdon to the Premier team.”
Cannon Travel’s Abta number will remain the same and been transferred to Premier Travel.
