Seven Hays Travel colleagues have scooped £2,000 towards a holiday of their choice and £500 spending money as part of the Big Hays Travel Thank You.
Now in its second year, the Big Hays Travel Thank You is awarding seven staff with prizes each month between September and December.
The prizes are split between job types, with five available for retail staff, one for head office staff and one for homeworkers.
Last month seven Hays Travel staff members won £500 a month towards their household bills for the next six months in the first round of the agency chain’s 2023 monthly prize draw.
This month’s seven lucky winners are: Ruth Ridewood, Chippenham branch; Ella Bardsley, Hyde branch; Caroline Pendleton, Ripley branch; Emily Hudson, Macclesfield branch; Keesha Mckenzie, Hemel Hempstead branch; Samantha Wright, selling systems supervisor in head office; and Personal Travel Consultant Kayleigh Hague.
Hays Travel chair Dame Irene Hays said: “The Big Hays Travel Thank You is a popular and exciting way to show our Hays Travel family just how much we appreciate them and their continued hard work.

“A massive congratulations to this month’s seven winners who each win £2,000 towards the holiday of their choice, plus £500 spending money; we look forward to hearing which destination they all choose.”
Wright has worked at Hays Travel for 10 years and said: “I was handling a call when the video went live and when colleagues said I’d won, I thought they were just winding me up.
“I am looking to book my honeymoon for October 2024, so this will be a massive help towards my cruise-and-villa stay in Florida. Thank you, Dame Irene.”
Hudson, travel consultant at the Macclesfield branch, who has worked at Hays Travel for nearly four years, said: “It’s an amazing feeling to win such a fab prize.
“But as a travel agent, it’s always hardest looking for your own holiday, so I am currently not sure where to choose for my holiday.
“Canada is on my bucket list, so it’s time to start doing some research.”
Dame Irene revealed that November’s prize will be ‘lunch on us’ for six months.
