A couple who book holidays with Shore Travel have celebrated staying more than 1,000 nights at Sandals Resorts’ properties in the Caribbean.
Heather Bailey and Christopher Roden from Stafford are one of just four to have ever reached the milestone.
They are members of the Sandals Select Guest loyalty programme and their first holiday was to Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau in 2006.
The couple book their holidays through personal travel advisor Rachel Buffrey at Shore Travel, a Midcounties Co-op agency.
Buffrey said: “Heather and ‘Jim’, as we know him, have been clients of mine for several years now.
“They are an absolute pleasure to deal with and their love of Sandals shines through.
“They are so well looked after at every resort they go to and, because they’re elite divers, the complimentary scuba diving keeps them coming back time and time again. Here’s to the next 1,000 nights.”
The Sandals Select Guest loyalty programme has about 1.5 million members, with only 100 couples who have stayed for 500 nights or more.
Buffrey’s clients celebrated their achievement on their most recent holiday to Sandals Royal Barbados when they were surprised by the resort’s management team with a cake, entertainment and a balloon display.
The couple were also presented with a special award in front of other returning guests.
