Trailfinders has launched a recruitment drive for agents ahead of opening its 42nd branch in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The store is scheduled to open in the summer and is likely to have about 12 agents, half of whom will be new recruits and half existing, experienced staff.
The tailor-made specialist said it is continuing to “grow and invest in the high street” despite the “challenges the travel industry has faced the past two years”.
Sir Mike Gooley, founder and executive chairman, said: “We have always done the right thing by our clients, providing the highest level of service and refunding immediately when holidays were denied by covid. Our strong financial position has enabled us to successfully weather any storm and now we’re looking ahead to a very bright future.”
The chain said it is recruiting for travel consultants throughout the UK and Ireland.
Trailfinders employs more than 1,000 people and its headquarters are in Kensington.
Before Covid, it had 37 travel centres. It opened branches in Winchester and Solihull in 2020, followed by York and Cheltenham in 2021.
