Travel Counsellors has created an internal community platform where franchisees and support staff can collaborate and advise each other.
More than 2,000 Travel Counsellors franchisees have access to web pages and discussion threads on the platform called TC World.
According to the homeworking agency group, 86.6% of the Travel Counsellors community visited TC World last Monday (August 9), the day that it launched.
On the same day there were more than 11,100 individual page visits and 187 discussion threads started on topics ranging from long-haul destinations to corporate travel.
Travel Counsellors said it recognised “a huge opportunity” during the pandemic to bring content together in “a more meaningful way”.

Karen Morris, operations director, said: “We have built an incredibly strong culture, focusing on how we always keep things personal and people feel part of a community, so even though our business owners work remotely they never feel alone.
“This was more important than ever during the pandemic. Through TC World, we want to make our online world as special as our physical world, whilst enhancing and strengthening the ability for our people to share and learn together.”
She added: “This latest enhancement is just one part of a wider programme for continuous improvement, ensuring that as we emerge from the pandemic, we build back better.”
The news comes as Travel Counsellors revealed that Spain had overtaken Greece as the most popular late summer destination for Britons.
Kirsten Hughes, UK managing director and chief commercial officer, said Spain was now the top destination this summer in terms of both bookings and enquiries.
She also reported that there had been “an upsurge” in winter bookings to the United Arab Emirates after the country moved to the amber list earlier this month.
Greece is currently the most popular destination for next summer, accounting for around 17% of all summer 2022 bookings.
