In his new role he will be part of the trade partnerships and sales team which supports agent partners.

Garrido said: “We had a huge amount of interest and some fantastic candidates to choose from so a big ‘well done’ to him. Luke joins with a huge amount of experience in trade facing roles and brings great contacts and enthusiasm.

“This is a unique and important role covering all aspects of our relationships with our trade partners and I know Luke is relishing the opportunity.

“We are continuing to invest in our trade partnerships and the incentive programmes, regional events and training webinars we have hosted so far have proven hugely popular.

“We have lots more to look forward to in the months ahead and it will be great to have Luke onboard to support the growth and development of these.”

Swarbrook added: “This is a great opportunity for me to join and promote some of the most respected brands in the business and continue to build on the great relationships they have in the trade.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with new and old contacts and continuing to build on our valuable trade partnerships.”

Travelopia Tailormade is currently running a Virtual Passport’ incentive programme which is live until the end of August.

Each booking made by an agent earns a stamp in a virtual passport. Each stamp sees agents win a £10 Love2Shop voucher.

Once three stamps are in the Tailormade Virtual Passport, agents can choose from a £50 John Lewis Voucher, a £50 Franco Manca Voucher, a case of Californian wine, or a Dock & Bay Beach Towel.

Accumulating 10 stamps in the passport will see agents win all the prizes, worth a combined total of £200.
