Trending Travel recruits influencer marketing director

Social media specialist Trending Travel has appointed Hollie Race to its senior team in the newly created role of influencer marketing director.

The company said her appointment “marks a significant milestone” as it aims to innovate and engage audiences through “compelling storytelling and strategic influencer partnerships”.

Race brings experience from her roles at fashion brand In The Style and homeworking agency Travel Counsellors.

She started at In The Style as a senior creative executive and quickly progressed to become a creative manager.

During her time there, she worked with influencers and celebrities to develop campaigns with the likes of actor Jac Jossa plus TV presenters Stacey Solomon and Dani Dyer.

Trending Travel said she also played “a pivotal role” at Travel Counsellors, launching and leading the agency’s first influencer campaign.

Subsequent campaigns featured stars such as TV personalities Sara Davies and Lisa Snowdon.

Kieran Shew, managing director at Trending Travel, said: “We are very excited to have Hollie join our growing team. Her experience with influencer relationships will further enhance our campaigns with our partners.”
