Tui River Cruises offers money-back promise

Tui River Cruises has unveiled a Satisfaction Promise, which offers customers their money back if they are not happy with their holiday.

The operator said: “If any customer issue can’t be resolved by the onboard team during their cruise, they can get a full refund when they return home.”

The Satisfaction Promise offer is valid for all Tui river cruises departing on or before October 25 and only applies to the cruise part of the holiday.

Chris Hackney, Tui River Cruises’ managing director, said: “We are so confident people will love sailing with us, if for any reason we do not fulfil our promise to deliver a fantastic holiday with excellent service, and a customer is genuinely not satisfied, we’ll give them their money back.”

The river cruise specialist is also offering free changes on existing and newly booked cruises due to sail this summer (August 2-October 25).

It is working with government-authorised test provider Chronomics to testing packages, details of which will be available soon.

For 2021 cruises, all passengers will need to be fully vaccinated.

The new three-ship adult-only river line was originally due to launch in summer 2020 but has been delayed because of the pandemic.

In March, it pushed the launch back to June then in April the first sailings were further delayed to August.

The first sailing date for Tui Skyla is planned for August 2 and the first sailing date for Tui Maya is now August 15.

Sailings on Tui Isla which had been due to depart on or before October 31 will not be operating.
